Located at 3135 S Pennsylvania Ave, Lansing, MI 48910, Slice by Saddleback operates as a pizza restaurant serving Lansing in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Lansing, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Michigan on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (517) 220-4693. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, slicebysaddleback.com.

Lansing is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Lansing is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Michigan's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We did take out from Slice a little while back and we love the pizza. If you have not tried it, its really quite good. We have ordered 3 or 4 times over the last few years with Slice and unfortunately something is always missed on the order. Its unfortunate because with their product mix you have ways to make very fun creative pizza. The first two times were from 3rd party deliveries so when we were missing our bread or a topping we paid for, what can you do? However, this last visit we got a build your own with a few after bake add-ons ( basil, ricotta, and hot honey) and I politely had to remind them to add the additional toppings, and they still forgot the hot honey. We just live over in Holt, but between Slice and Holt Road there are literally 8 pizza places. For sure try this place but double check your order if you build your own. Its a bummer that something minor always seems to keep this from being a top experience.

Ricotta Roni was amazing. Great toppings, nice char on the bottom but not over done, seriously good pizza

Very happy to have Slice in our neck of the woods! Their crust is by far the best in Lansing and they are very generous with their toppings. I also want to thank the young man working today who corrected a forgotten ricotta roni. That meant a lot!

I ordered the 517 Restaurant Week special and it was wonderful!! Very tasty and cooked perfectly. Also ordered a slice of pepperoni to try and this is what I got. Obviously hours old. Not hot and too hard to even try to eat. Went straight into the trash. Didn't realize it until I got home or I would have asked for money back. Staff was very friendly and the cheese pizza was hot and fresh.

I’m really disappointed with my experience at Slice by Saddleback. The pizza was not good at all, especially for the price. I spent over $40 for two small pizzas, which felt way overpriced for what we got. The crust was extremely thin and the pizzas were dry, like they had been sitting out too long or just didn’t have enough toppings to begin with. There was barely any sauce or cheese, which made the whole thing pretty bland and unsatisfying. Overall, definitely not worth the money. I would not recommend this place.
